Trip with Ana Lorena and Mario in Candelaria

Ana Lorena and Mario took us to Candelaria which is the oldest part of Bogota. They are both so knowledgable about the history here. This is a street called "funnel" street because it gets more narrow as you walk along it. It also had murals on the walls of the buildings

The first pueblito that was established in Bogota had 12 houses each named after one of the 12 apostles and a church surrounding a central square. These photos show the fountain and the church, but this church is not the original.

Mario and Mark at the Mexican Restaurant. We liked the other restaurant that we had on our earlier blog. That one is on the same street as this one.

This is the view of the city from the Mexican Restaurant
