Laguna de Guatavita

On Monday, November 15th was another "festivo" day. President and Sister Hacking asked us to go with them to the laguna de Guatavita for the day. Elder and Sister Boulter went with us and we had a great day. The legend of Eldorado comes from this lagoon which is a crater that the Spanish found lots of gold. Some say that there is still much gold in the lagoon but the crater is so deep no-one has found the bottom. We were lucky that it only rained when we finished the climb and we were waiting for the bus to take us back to the parking lot. After, we ate at a little restaurant in Sesquile. Enjoy the pictures!
